Dear Students,
Although we are all learning remotely, it is still very important that you let the college know if you test positive for Covid-19.
You should do this by calling the absence line on 0151 257 2008 as soon as you can after receiving your result.

Read more... Technical Support will be enabling "Self Service Password Resets" for all students.
This will allow students to reset their own passwords and unlock their own accounts without the need to contact Technical Support. When this has been enabled you will be required to enter some additional details such as your mobile number or alternate email address the next time you log into Microsoft Office 365.
When logging into Microsoft Office 365 you will be presented with a dialogue box similar to the one below. From here you can add your method of choice (Email or Mobile).- WELCOME TO SOLAR - the College Virtual Learning Environment

If anxiety is having a big impact on your life/college, we recommend the following:
- Talk to somebody you trust: parent/carer/tutors etc.
- Seek advice from your G.P.
- Register with kooth.com and talk to them online outside of college hours.
- Look at advice from the NHS here
- Keep an ‘Anxiety Diary’ i.e. record which days you seem to feel more anxious and if there is a pattern. Measure your anxiety out of 10 (10 being the highest)
- Come up with 3 strategies to tackle the times you feel most anxious.
- If you still feel you are struggling, ask your tutor to refer you for ‘Anxiety sessions’ with Vicky in Programme Management
